![]() ![]() Maruti Jimny 5-door Another Maruti on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door. The Baleno cross is said to make its debut at the 2023 Auto Expo and when launched, it will compete with Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and Citroen C3. It is also expected that Maruti might bring back the turbocharged 1.0-litre, 3-cyl, petrol engine which was available in the Baleno RS. This engine produces 90 bhp of power and 113 Nm of torque and comes mated with a 5-speed manual or an AMT. Talking about the powertrain, the Baleno cross is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated K12C Dualjet petrol engine from the Baleno. The cross Baleno also wears roof rails which gives it an SUV stance and it is also expected to come with front and rear skid plates and body cladding all around. At the rear, key highlights include a raked windshield, chunky bumper and boot-lid integrated spoiler. The squared-off wheel arches and dark body cladding can also be seen. The test mule also wears black coloured alloy wheels which are likely 16-inches. From the spied images, the front grille looks much larger and wider and it also shows highlights like split headlamps with lower-set main headlights and streaks of daytime running LEDs above them. The vehicle features a distinctive sloping roofline with a slightly more upright front fascia and higher ground clearance. The Maruti Baleno Cross has also spied testing on Indian roads multiple times. Maruti Baleno Cross The second car on the list is another Maruti. The Tata Altroz EV is expected to be priced around Rs 12- 15 lakhs in India. The car is expected to come with connected car technology which lets you access the car's stats such as the remaining battery, and charging history and even locate the nearest charging stations for you. The Tata Altroz EV is expected to borrow many features from the already launched Nexon EV such as the same electric powertrain, PDU (Power distribution unit) and battery pack. ![]() The electric premium hatchback is expected to be launched at the Auto expo 2023. The Tata Altroz EV is based on the same ALFA platform which is compatible with electrification. Tata showcased the all-electric variant of the Altroz premium hatchback at the Geneva Motor show in 2019. Tata Altroz EV Another most expected car on the list is the Altroz EV. In terms of features, expect the Toyota Innova Hycross to come with an 8-inch infotainment system, 360 camera, semi-digital instrument cluster and an electric sunroof. ![]()
